Over time, I’ve come to appreciate that chanting mantras isn’t just a spiritual practice—it’s also deeply rooted in science. When we recite mantras, we are creating specific sound vibrations that influence our body and mind in powerful ways.
The repetition of these sacred sounds helps to regulate our breathing, which in turn activates the parasympathetic nervous system—our body’s natural “rest and digest” mode.
