Mind & Body Practices

Over 15 years of living and studying in ashrams across India, I encountered practices that most people in the modern world have never experienced directly.

The modalities I draw on are a toolkit I combine intuitively depending on what each person actually needs, session by session.

Some are ancient and rooted in Indian tradition. Others come from Japan, Hawaii, and modern psychology.

All of them share the same purpose: to reach what talking alone cannot.

The Tools, Not the Formula

Every person who comes to this work arrives with something different.

Different history, different patterns, different ways of holding what they carry.

That's why I don't follow a fixed protocol - I draw on whichever of these practices will actually reach what needs to be reached, in the right combination, at the right moment.

Not sure which practice is right for you? You don't need to know. That's what the Clarity Session is for.

Stretch at Your Desk
Desktop Yoga

Hours at a screen do predictable things to the body: tight shoulders, a compressed spine, a stiff neck.

These sessions bring gentle guided movement directly into the workday, no mat, no change of clothes, no disruption to the schedule. Just enough to release what's built up and reset the body before it becomes a problem.

Simple and practical, it's the kind of practice that can easily become part of everyone's daily routine.

Practices:

  • Seated spinal stretches, shoulder and neck release

  • Gentle wrist and lower back resets

  • Breath awareness to boost clarity

Benefits:

  • Relieves tension from hours at the desk

  • Reduces fatigue and eye strain

  • Boosts energy and sharpens focus

Mindful Minutes
Guided Meditations

A hectic workday doesn't pause easily, and asking a team to suddenly drop into stillness can feel like a big ask.

These short guided sessions are designed to meet people exactly where they are, creating just enough space to interrupt the noise, calm the nervous system and return to the present moment.

Done regularly, what starts as a few minutes of guided practice gradually builds into a genuine capacity for focus and emotional steadiness that carries through the rest of the day.

Practices:

  • Simple breathwork

  • Visualization for grounding and calm

  • Self-check-ins to reset focus

Benefits:

  • Reduces anxiety and overwhelm

  • Builds emotional regulation and clarity

  • Promotes mindfulness and presence

Paint Your Calm
Art Therapy

These guided sessions use colour, shape and texture as a way to slow down, process and express what words often can't quite capture - no artistic ability required, no pressure to produce anything impressive.

The focus is entirely on the experience of making rather than the result, which is precisely what makes it so effective.

For teams that spend most of their day in analytical mode, this offers a genuinely different kind of reset, one that tends to surface unexpected clarity alongside it.

Practices:

  • Collage, painting, or intuitive drawing

  • Themed reflection and optional sharing

Benefits:

  • Themed reflection and optional sharing

  • Offers emotional clarity

  • Sparks creativity

Laugh to Lead
Laughter Yoga

Laughter is one of the fastest ways to shift the energy in a room, and one of the most underused tools in any workplace.

Somewhere between deadlines, performance reviews and back-to-back meetings, teams lose the lightness that makes collaboration enjoyable and creativity possible.

These playful sessions use laughter breathwork and movement to disarm stress, break down the invisible walls that build up between colleagues and reignite the kind of genuine connection that makes a team actually function well together. Lighthearted in format but real in impact.

Practices:

  • Laughter breathwork and movement

  • Joyful team games

  • Grounding and gratitude

Benefits:

  • Releases emotional heaviness

  • Builds trust and connection

  • Improves mood and morale

sound healing.jpg

Focus Through Vibrations
Sound Healing

Some forms of stress don't respond to talking or thinking your way through them. They need something that works at a different level entirely.

Using Tibetan bowls, voice and vibration, these sessions create a full nervous system reset that reaches places conventional stress management simply doesn't touch.

Particularly powerful around intense deadlines, periods of change or prolonged pressure, they give the body and mind a chance to genuinely decompress rather than just pause before the next demand arrives.

Practices:

  • Live sound journey with bowls and bells

  • Group intention-setting

  • Silence for integration

Benefits:

  • Calms overstimulated minds and bodies

  • Releases deep tension

  • Supports clarity and emotional balance

Recent Partnerhsips

Guided Meditation

Meditation found me in a moment of deep inner chaos, when the noise within was louder than anything outside.

I hold space for others the way space was once held for me - creating a safe and sacred container for inner work, emotional release, and embodied stillness.

Each session is guided intuitively, shaped by what is most needed in the moment.

Whether one-to-one or in a group, personal sessions allow for deeper, customised journeys while group sessions bring the power of shared presence and collective healing.

Sessions May Draw From:

  • Deep visualisations and soul work, including childhood regression and inner child healing

  • Vipassana-inspired sitting and breath awareness practices

  • Trauma integration and emotional release techniques

  • Relationship healing and heartbreak recovery meditations

  • Mantra immersion and chakra activation

  • Dance meditations, walking meditations, and active practices

Consent-Led Hypnosis

In these sessions, I guide the mind into a relaxed, receptive state where old patterns can be released and new beliefs can take root.

You remain fully aware and in complete control throughout.

We begin with a short conversation about what's showing up in life and what you're hoping to shift, then move into a calm, meditative state using breath and voice - where we work with the subconscious mind, which is where true transformation happens.

Many people describe the experience as peaceful, deeply healing, and profoundly personal.

Areas Commonly Worked With Include:

  • Anxiety and overthinking

  • Confidence and self-worth

  • Emotional release and healing from past experiences

  • Inner clarity and decision-making

  • Insomnia and restlessness

  • Letting go of limiting beliefs

  • Motivation and creative flow

Sound Resonance Work

Sound moves through us in ways that words can't. It doesn't ask you to explain anything or fix anything - it just meets you where you are.

One of the first times I received sound healing myself, I was going through a time that felt heavy and unclear.

As the bowls played, something cracked open. It felt like my body had been holding on for too long and finally had permission to exhale.

I offer sound healing for individuals, couples, children and groups - online and in person, including in corporate spaces.

Benefits Across Four Levels

Physical:

  • Deep relaxation, loosening tight muscles

  • Calming of the nervous system, lowering heart rate and blood pressure

  • Better sleep and deeper rest

  • Release of physical tension and stuck energy

Mental:

  • Quietening of nonstop mental chatter

  • Clearing mental fog during overwhelming moments

  • Grounding and focus in the present moment

  • Release of feelings held without awareness

  • A restored sense of inner calm and balance

  • Deeper connection to the inner self

  • Clearing of energetic blocks

Counselling for Wellbeing

There are seasons in life when we carry too much - when we smile on the outside, show up for everyone else, and keep going even when something inside is quietly breaking.

These sessions offer a space where you don't need to perform, please, or explain.

A space where you are allowed to feel, fall apart, and find your way back, gently and safely.

This isn't traditional psychotherapy. It's guided self-discovery and emotional reset - a space where your feelings are not too much, your pace is respected, and your journey is sacred.

This work is particularly supportive during:

  • A painful breakup or loss

  • Anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or burnout

  • A shift in identity or purpose

  • Repeating patterns in relationships or self-worth

  • A deep inner calling to heal and grow

Mantra & Sacred Sound

Mantras are not just words, they are sacred sounds filled with energy.

When chanted with presence, they create ripples inside us, calming restless thoughts, healing emotional wounds, and awakening a quiet strength in the heart.

The repetition of these sounds helps regulate breathing, which activates the parasympathetic nervous system - slowing the heart rate, reducing stress hormones, and calming the body at a biological level.

At a neurological level, chanting can synchronise brain waves, increasing the alpha and theta states associated with deep relaxation and meditative clarity.

Regular Practice May Bring:

  • A deepening sense of inner peace

  • Greater emotional clarity and mental focus

  • Reduced stress and anxiety at a nervous system level

  • Balance in the body's energy centres

  • A more vibrant connection to life and to yourself

Art as Therapy

This is a space where art becomes a gentle way to explore what's within - no pressure, no need to be good at it. I

t's not about creating something perfect. It's about expressing what words sometimes can't.

Through intuitive painting and playful creative exercises, I guide you to connect with your emotions, release what feels heavy, and discover insights along the way.

Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply curious - this is a safe, open space to breathe, feel, and create freely.

Common Questions

  • Do I need any artistic skills?
Not at all. These sessions are about expression, not technique. If you can pick up a brush - you're ready.

  • What if I don't know what I'm feeling?
Art can help uncover feelings you didn't know were there. Just starting opens up space for things to come through naturally.

  • What materials will we use?
Simple, everyday materials - paints, pastels, paper. Nothing fancy. It's more about the experience than the tools.

Ho'oponopono

Ho'oponopono is an ancient Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness - beautifully simple, yet deeply transformative.

In one-to-one sessions, I offer this as a gentle yet effective therapeutic experience to help clear emotional blockages, past conditioning and subconscious patterns that may be affecting the present.

The practice centres on four powerful phrases: I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you.

When used with presence and intention, these words begin to shift the inner landscape - releasing stored emotions, cleansing old imprints, and opening space for clarity and peace.

People often report feeling lighter and emotionally clearer after even a single session.

This Session May Support:

  • Emotional and energetic clearing

  • Inner child healing

  • Letting go of guilt, blame, or resentment

  • Relationship healing, including the relationship with yourself

  • Realignment with peace, clarity, and inner power

Reflective Shadow Work

Shadow work is about gently exploring the hidden parts of yourself - the fears, the old hurts, the self-doubt that quietly shapes your life.

Not to judge or fix, but to understand and heal.

When I first started my own journey with shadow work, it wasn't easy. But as I faced those quiet shadows with kindness, I found a new kind of freedom: the freedom to be fully myself without holding back.

In sessions, I create a warm, safe space to explore whatever comes up, working with simple tools and honest conversation.

What You Can Expect:

  • More clarity about why you feel and react the way you do

  • Freedom from buried pain and fears that no longer serve you

  • Healthier, more honest relationships with others and yourself

  • A deeper acceptance and love for who you truly are

  • Confidence to live more aligned with your true self

Marma Energy Healing

Rooted in the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda, Marma Energy Healing works with the body's 108 sacred Marma points - the places where the physical and energetic bodies meet.

By gently stimulating these points, deep tension is unlocked, emotional blockages are released, and harmony is invited back into the body, mind and spirit.

In a session, you'll lie down in a quiet, nurturing space while I work intuitively with soft touch, tailoring each session to what your energy and body are asking for in that moment.

There was a time in my own life when I felt disconnected - from my body, my joy, my sense of direction.

Learning and practicing Marma reawakened something in me, and offering these sessions is my way of passing that gift on.

People Commonly Experience:

  • Deep release of physical tension and chronic pain

  • Emotional lightness and restored balance

  • Clearer focus and mental calm

  • Reduced anxiety and inner peace

  • A boost in energy and vitality

  • A sense of spiritual alignment and grounding

  • Gentle healing of past wounds or grief

  • Improved digestion, rest, and overall wellbeing

Somatic Integration

The body holds experiences that the mind may move past.

Stress, emotion, memory and past responses can settle quietly into muscles, breath patterns, posture and the nervous system - remaining long after the original event has ended.

Somatic Integration is a gentle, mindful approach that helps reconnect the body with awareness, safety and balance.

Rather than analysing the past, it guides you to notice what the body is communicating in the present moment.

The process is gentle, nothing is forced, and the body leads at its own natural pace.

This Work Supports The Release Of:

  • Chronic stress and fatigue or burnout

  • Anxiety and fear responses

  • Emotional numbness

  • Muscle tightness and breath restriction

  • Difficulty relaxing

  • Disconnection from the body

  • Past trauma held in physical layers

Yoga Nidra - Deep Sleep

Sometimes we're not just tired - we're soul-tired.

Even when the body is still, the mind keeps running.

Yoga Nidra is a doorway into a different kind of rest: not just physical, but emotional, mental and energetic.

Often called yogic sleep, it guides you into the threshold state between waking and dreaming - where the body is completely relaxed and the mind is deeply quiet. In this space, healing happens naturally.

The nervous system resets. Emotional layers soften. Old stress patterns dissolve.

You lie down, close your eyes, and let go while I take you on an inner journey through awareness, stillness and subtle healing. It's meditation without effort. Rest without resistance.

Yoga Nidra Is Particularly Helpful If:

  • Your mind feels cluttered or constantly active

  • You struggle to sleep or truly relax

  • You're emotionally or energetically exhausted

  • You've been holding on to stress, sadness, or tension

  • You're craving silence, stillness, or a deeper connection to yourself

  • You want to feel clearer and more focused

Pranayama, Mudras & Bandhas

Three interconnected practices from the yogic tradition that work together to regulate and direct the body's vital energy.

Pranayama is the conscious regulation of breath - a doorway to inner stillness, clarity and healing. Each inhale a reminder that life is here; each exhale a letting go of what no longer needs to be carried.

Bandhas are gentle muscular locks that redirect the flow of prana within the body, awakening awareness in the pelvis, diaphragm and throat.

Mudras are energetic hand gestures - sacred seals that support mental focus, emotional balance and spiritual alignment, used during breathwork, meditation, or simply while resting.

In sessions, these three practices are woven together intuitively and trauma-sensitively.

We Might:

  • Begin with a grounding breath and simple pranayama

  • Work with a bandha if appropriate to the session

  • Integrate a mudra to deepen the practice

  • Move through the whole sequence or focus on one element

Rakkenho Bodywork

Rakkenho is a traditional Japanese healing practice that began more than a thousand years ago in Buddhist monasteries, where monks used it to support each other's physical alignment and inner balance during long hours of meditation.

It uses gentle foot pressure instead of hands, allowing slow, steady contact that encourages muscles to soften rather than resist.

As rhythmic pressure is applied and the breath is guided, the nervous system settles, tension melts, and space is created within both body and mind.

The experience is often described as meditative, comforting and deeply restorative.

Rakkenho doesn't force anything - it invites release. An offering of care. A moment of surrender. A return to balance.

This Practice Supports:

  • Posture, mobility and circulation

  • Release of deep physical tension

  • Emotional balance and nervous system settling

  • A deeper connection to inner stillness

  • A meditative, grounding experience of the body

EFT - Emotional Freedom Technique

Sometimes emotions get stuck.

Old pain, unresolved memories, buried fears - we carry them in the body long after the moment has passed.

EFT combines the wisdom of ancient Chinese acupressure with modern psychology.

By gently tapping on specific meridian points - the forehead, chest, collarbone and others - while voicing what's really going on inside, we send calming signals to the nervous system while speaking truth to what's held within.

What I love most about EFT is how real it allows us to be. You don't have to pretend to be okay, spiritualise your pain, or wrap it up in neat explanations.

You just get to be - messy, honest, hurting, human. And in that space of raw truth, the energy begins to move.

EFT Is Particularly Helpful For:

  • Anxiety, panic, or emotional overwhelm

  • Grief, sadness, or heartbreak

  • Self-doubt, shame, or inner criticism

  • Old traumas or painful memories resurfacing

  • Feeling emotionally stuck or numb

  • Repeating the same patterns despite self-awareness

Trataka - Eye Focus Practice

Trataka, from the Sanskrit meaning "to gaze steadily," is a traditional yogic cleansing and concentration practice described in ancient texts including the Hatha Yoga Pradipika.

It uses the eyes not to absorb more stimulation, but to guide us inward - creating inner silence through outer focus.

In sessions, we ease into the practice gently, relaxing the body, softening the breath, and allowing the eyes to rest in stillness on a candle flame, a symbol, or a single point.

For me, it's not about getting it right. It's about creating space - to slow down, to reconnect with yourself, and to remember what clarity feels like.

Some Of Its Benefits:

  • Calms the nervous system and reduces anxiety

  • Sharpens concentration and clears mental fog

  • Supports restful sleep and soothes tired eyes

  • Awakens inner awareness and intuition

  • Helps bring emotional balance and presence

Hi, This is Megan. I'm from The States, Arizona. And I just did the private meditation with Kajal. I've never done anything like it before. She made me feel very comfortable, no judgment that there's someone there guiding me. I just was able to get into a space inside of myself. It was just all of me. I won't forget this experience and I would totally recommend it to anyone trying to look inside themselves and flush away hard feelings. So thank you, Kajal

Hello. My name is Catherine. I come from Canada. It's my very first introduction with Kajal, in the meditation training. As a first experience, I can say that she's teaching me a whole new way of being with myself, and she's introducing me to love myself and love my body. Without any judgment, she is teaching me to accept and be in the moment. And those meditation sessions are revealing and beautiful

Hi, my name is Ian, and my wife is Marie. We came for Ayurveda, yoga, and the diet, but were pleasantly surprised to discover Kajal’s marma therapy. Her sessions brought a deep sense of spiritual balance and helped me connect more deeply with my meditation practice. Many people have experienced personal healing through her work. Hi. My name is Mia, and I would like to talk about the amazing work Kajal did on me on her visit to Albania. She started with a marma therapy session and with some sound healing and chanting integrated. Casual soothing hands and voice guides you all the way through it. I immediately felt healed and had a sense of huge relief. Thanks a lot Kajal.

Hi, everyone. This is Mark. I went for the Marma therapy first, which was followed by the Sound Healing Therapy. And, to my experience, it was really, really great. It really helped cleanse my chakras and a lot of negative energy that I had stored and I was carrying for years eventually came out. Earlier, I would feel really lethargic in my day, not wanting to do anything in life. The therapies really helped bring out the energy from within me, and I started feeling really energetic.

Ciao! Kajal helped me in many ways during a time of deep changes in my life; I was seeking explanations to better accept my past, kindness for my present, and ways to address and look at the future. Kajal gave me much more: a spiritual guide, unassuming and gentle, a therapist inspired by the divine, and a friend. I'm grateful to have met her.

Hello, I had some therapy sessions with Kajal and I just think it was such a wonderful journey encompassing of all of the senses. I’m just piecing myself back together. But I'm feeling absolutely blissed out and I'm very relaxed. I feel like I've had some deep healing in my base of the spine. Thank you so much Kajal.

Hi. I'm Liz. I'm from Sydney. I had no idea what this experience would be, but she, through four days of sessions, took me on a journey that was so incredibly profound. Kajal has this natural ability to hold the space and to allow, the person, me, to really start to let go. I could feel the heart shift, and it's what a wonderful experience with this beautiful healing therapist, and I feel like I've just found the healer that I need. Thank you Kajal.
